Spread across a whopping 1.5 million square meters, the Olympic Park has become a place where locals love to come to unwind and participate in sports activities. The unique feature of the park is that it encompasses the land that was once Mongchontoseong Fortress and Mongchonhaeja from the Baekje period. The sheer size of the park is enough to overwhelm first time visitors, so it helps to figure out in advance where one wishes to go. A number of cultural programs also take place here on a regular basis. There are walking paths, swimming pools, Ice Skating rinks, cycling, hiking areas and much more. At the environmental eco park, one can see herons, cuckoos, chipmunks, frogs and even squirrels. For those interested in history, the Baekje museum Mongchontoseong Fortress would be a good visit.

Olympic Park Seoul Reviews & Ratings
I was totally surprised of how well preserved Seoul's Olympic Park is. The walking path was well maintained and filled with a lot of active adults and children. The water show was a nice touch too. All of the restrooms along the way are very clean and well stocked.
This park is bigger than expected. Should be a lot more beautiful during spring or autumn; hoping to be able to go back there someday. We actually went here to find the lone tree; if you're going there for the same reason, better take Mongchontoseong subway station rather than Olympic Park station unless you're up for a long walk.
Nice place to look around. There are lots of events inside of the park. Look around
I spent hours walking around the park. There is so much to explore. A great day out.
It was a nice place to talk a walk and enjoy the breeze. I could imagine going there in a warmer season. There were owners walking their dogs around and the elderly exercising. I went there after going to Soul Cup so it was a short walk from where i was. It is right by Olympic Park Station so travelling there is easy and i think it might be close to Seokchon Lake too.
