  • It's definitely a town reservoir! :) Water is definitely not clear and people could clean up after themselves better, but the res itself it a good little area to go boating, have a picnic, or go swimming/paddleboarding. The price is reasonable, and there are lots of shaded areas and picnic tables if you come at a good time. Swim beach opens at 10 am, so it's wading only until the lifeguard shows up.

  • Great place for our dog to be social! VERY crowded on holidays. Get there early, or you might wait in line for an hour like we did. Season passes and rentals of kayaks and such are available. They should think about putting a concession stand in.

  • Nice place to go with kids. Great swimming area and play ground. Older kids love to paddle around on our sup or kayaks.

  • Caught a fish. Small bass. Very nice lady at the gate who was informative on the algae issue; good thing it wasn't here because we went to different resevoirs before this and they had warning signs.

  • Had a great time at the dog beach with our pups on a hot day. It has gotten much more expensive to hang out here, so that's a bummer. We did also have a lot of fun on the swim beach, floating around in our inner tubes. All in all it was a fun day!
