The Apple Barn And Cider Mill Reviews & Ratings

  • I really was impressed by the whole area. We tried the different ciders and wines and they were good. The restaurant was really good and the serving sizes equaled the price. I can't speak about the other food around, but if they matched the food in the restaurant I'm sure it's tasteful. The apple fritters were amazing, the fried chicken was moist, I wish I had more chicken and dumplings, and the pot pie was good as well. I also had a taste of the fried catfish and it was fried just right with it not being overly cooked. The apple cobbler and the apple spice cake was also good. The soup brócoli and cheese soup was creamy and hot. I wasn't a fan of the coleslaw, but I did like the mashed potatoes and the fried okra. I also have to say that the staff was kind and the waitress was very kind and funny. Would I recommend this place? Yes. I hope to return one day. It might seem expensive, but they do give you a lot of food and the sampler gives you an insight into the three different dishes they make.

  • My experience here was amazing, the food was great and reasonably priced but most of all I was most impressed by our server Hayley, it's Labor Day so you could imagine as busy as this day is everywhere, it was packed! Hayley didn't miss a beat, I watched her work I was so in awe and my tables had a lot of special requests. She got them all right and she's probably the best server I've ever had, I would come back just because of her!! I'd love to have an employee like her back home, she hustles and does a great job, I appreciate her making my experience for my family and I so great!

  • Must eat here! Apple fritters, apple cider, and freshly squeezed orange juice to start you off. All of our food was delicious and we had a party of 10. We visited from Indiana. Our waitress Abigail was super awesome with my entire family. I love restaurants were you get such friendly service. They make you feel right at home! Thanks Abigail for making our visit extra great!

  • I LOVED this place! The whole experience was awesome. The food was great! I bought some apple and strawberry butter. I would definitely recommend going. I plan to visit again when I can make it back out to TN!

  • Been here many times. Its clean, it smells nice. Its welcoming and easy on the eyes. You will find a lot of decorations in there. They do sell apple based food products. I do like the apple cider and apple juice. Most of the merchandise is not my thing. My mom who passed away last year loved this place very much. I miss her, ill have to stop by and visit again.
