This intimate, magnificent and lavishly decorated 15th century Renaissance Palace is considered to be one of the most important historic homes in the city. Having changed ownership multiple times over the centuries, it is now the property of the House of Alba.
The main attractions at the Palace are the architecture and the art collection. For the former, note the Gothic and Moorish influences, the long passageways, the room with the octagonal ceiling, the many marble columns, the courtyard garden in Islamic style, the 15th century chapel, and the nine fountains.
And though there are many paintings by 19th and 20th century Spanish masters in the art collection, one of the foremost attractions is a watercolor painting by Jackie Kennedy in 1960. She painted it while she stayed here.
The furnishings of the palace are also notable including the furniture, the gildwork, the statues, the ceramics, the decorative items and the tapestries.

It is a nice place to visit in Seville. I liked most of all the entrance to the central garden. For this, I would say it is definitely worth visiting. A very peaceful atmosphere. The museum itself is not very big or particularly special place. Though, there are old beautiful carpet paintings. We had a good time, for about 1h tour. :)
Wow. I loved this visit. It’s a real treasure and bang in the centre of Seville. Incredible. Yes it’s not a cheap cheap visit but it’s a private residence still and there is reason why the Alba family are one of the richest in Europe 😀. But this place is beautiful. Very different to the Alcázar but I would say that
Lovely gem of a place to visit. It was lovely. Well worth a visit.
A fabulous place. So worth the visit. A hidden gem in Seville.
Really nice place. Would love to come back, but I wouldn't pay 8 euros again for such a short trip. Maybe 6+2 for the audio guide. Definitely not 8+2 for the guide, crazy expensive for such a place. Hope people there enjoy it. It's nice for a short distraction, nothing out of the world, if you are a fan of all this stuff go ahead it's worth. If not, forget about it. Put your money in a good beer and jamon on a nice warm Seville evening.
