The Door of Diwan also known as Beb Eddiwen, which originally used to be a fortified south facing entrance to the city of Sfax in Tunisia is now a popular tourist attraction in Sfax. The original door may be in ruins however even from what remains it is quite easy to gather that this door used to be a magnificent entrance into the city that efficiently protected its residents from attackers from the outside. Dating back to 1306 or probably earlier, whatever remains of the original Door of Diwan is now a historical landmark in the city of Sfax.
