If you revisit the history, this chapel, built by Stephen de Haccombe, and his successors, is still carrying most of its legacy from its 13th Century origins. This church, you will see, was introduced to Baptisms in 1616, followed by the Burial and Marriage registers in 1671, keeping all its architectural features intact. The extensions, including a gallery, a new roof, a wooden Bell tower and various other improvements, were mainly added by 1790.However, several other renovations continued at this place, later on with an official title of “Chapel of Ease” being finally added.
