Hakkasan is an upscale, modern Chinese restaurant in the West End of London, England, at Hanway Place. The restaurant was created by Syra Khan and Alan Yau, also behind the Wagamama Japanese restaurant chain and the newer Yauatcha restaurant, also in London. The multimillion-pound interior at the original Hakkasan was designed by the French designer Christian Liaigre who fused distinctly modern aesthetic with traditional Chinese motifs. It has opened branches in Miami, Mumbai, New York City, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Abu Dhabi, Beverly Hills, Shanghai, Dubai, and Doha. In 2013, Hakkasan formed a strategic partnership with Angel Management Group creating their first nightclub located at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The five-story 80,000 square foot venue holds close to 7,500 patrons and boasts performers such as Calvin Harris, Nervo and Tiësto. In april 2017, a new Hakkasan restaurant named Ling Ling will open at Aker Brygge in Oslo, Norway.Wikipedia

Hakkasan, Shanghai Reviews - Write a Review
Good Chinese food and excellent service. Popular either for Chinese and “Western” people.
Nice location with view from the Bund. Tasty food & nice cocktails. Service is good. Staff good in English.
Excellent dining experience on the Bund. Food was delicious, drinks were fantastic, atmosphere and view were superb, all in all a wonderful night out. We got the dim sum plates, both regular and vegetarian, as well as the tofu in pumpkin soup, crab salad, Shanghai dumplings, and pork belly buns. My personal favorite of the group was the tofu in pumpkin, because not only was the pumpkin soup and mushrooms delicious, that may have been the best tofu I've ever had. Drinks were great, although several of the food dishes beat them to the table-guess the bartender was busy. I got the coix solero, which was most refreshing. And the desserts were the perfect cap to the meal. Most were fruit-based and all were amazing. I got the coconut and the others got the peach blossom. Add in the fact that you have an amazing view of the Shanghai skyline and Huangpu river, a really classy and upscale atmosphere, and very attentive servers who speak great English (and provide good English menus), and it was a great evening on the Bund.
Food and interior are awesome and easily beat by the drinks at the bar. Very attentive staff. Really enjoyed the stay, only downside: Full of expats and tourists, but I am one of them, so I cannot really complain.
Very Nice food. Great view and perfect place for a good dinner with friends
