Sharbot Lake Provincial Park Reviews & Ratings

  • Not and little park. Beach is small but nice. Warning, it is very close to hwy 7. Our site was right on the highway! Okay I'd you have a trailer and can close the windows and turn on the a/c. In a tent, like sleeping on the 401. But all in all,a nice little spot!

  • Park Located perfectly between Belleville and Ottawa as a central location to camp with friends. The area was nice with a couple beaches and a nice playground set for kids. The wood was not as dry as we would have liked and but the bathrooms were clean. The sign notes a different time in which they clean them. Based on my stay the bathrooms were cleaned around 9-10 in the morning when the sign notes 1pm as bathroom cleaning time. The local town is a short distance away with very unique multi purpose buildings to sustain themselves during off season. It was a nice stay and night time stargazing is great.

  • Nice big park and beautiful lakes. But if I'd rolled out of bed, I'd have ended up on the highway. Lots of road noise is not the park's fault but is my only complaint. We'll go back, just a lot further from the highway.

  • Beautiful park and lakes to canoe on. A good place to come weekend camping. The staff are friendly and the grounds and bathrooms are kept clean. The only downside is that the sites are super close to one another and it could get pretty crowded in high season.

  • We live this path and have been going for five years now. We like that it is not to big and only an hour drive for us from Kingston. The bugs are never bad here and they have two beaches to check out.
