Al Majaz Waterfront, Sharjah Reviews

  • Al Majaz Water Front is the most beautiful place in Sharjah. The corniche which was plain and simple few years back has been developed into the most happening spot in Sharjah. There is a musical fountain show during the evenings. There are plenty of restaurants. There is a kids play area. You can also do various activities like cycling and jogging etc. There are boat rides in the lake as well. It's a beautiful place for a family outing.

  • There is a lot you can do here if you are with a friend. Enjoy food or rent a bike or go on a boat ride or simply enjoy the serenity. Sharjah is lovely only if you have someone to share the silence with.

  • A water front park, The Majaz Park can be visited throughout the year and well into the night. Staples are food stores, a big mosque, dancing fountain, Mini golf course and a children's water park. Some areas can change depending on occasions and access to these areas can vary too like they can be for family, women and children only etc. The view is great and can be a great place to jog if you do not require a tartan floor. All in all, it is a park worth visiting even everyday as you need not spend a cent being there -for a change of scenery, refresh the mind and generally just hanging out. If you are willing to walk, you'll find that it seamlessly connects to other areas with other attractions.

  • We were playing cards and the security came and said we aren’t allowed, so I told him why? I asked for the manager, the manager came and I asked him why we can’t play, so he took me to the police office, and there was a local guy there. I told him why can’t we play, there’s not a lot activities to do here, he got angry and started to raise his voice, I told him I’m talking to you with respect so don’t shout and talk with respect like I’m talking to you. He got angrier and said I do what I want, “and I’ll show you” and he got some papers and said I have to sign, I ask him what’s this he said it’s not your business, come tomorrow and ask the other manager. And then he said if I saw you here one more time I’ll get you kicked out of the country. This is exactly what happened. I’m not happy if what happened, I just asked why can’t we play cards, as if it’s an illegal thing to do. And this is what the local guy did. I don’t recommend any one to go to that park, it’s ridiculous and people are not friendly at all.

  • this park is the best tourist destination in UAE.all people enjoy the dancing fountain. Every day evening it starts at a particular timing. There are several food outlets and restaurants in this area. There is jogging track with distant marked for the convenience.
