Sharjah Aquarium, Sharjah Reviews
Great aquarium with many fish. The place is centered around one big tank with sharks, turtles, just to name a few. The walking path takes one through the tank in a tunnel and then over the tank on a bridge. Thus one can see the fish from many angles. There is also a separate shark tank at the beginning. Overall the aquarium is very educational and great for kids and adults. At the end is a snack bar with a fantastic view of Sharjah. There is also a seafood restaurant somewhere in the building.
A very pleasing visit. I wonder why we haven't paid a visit to this place before. This is a much better opportunity to see aquatic life. There is no rush. It's affordable. No parking hassles. For me it's better than other aquariums in UAE.
The Sharjah Aquarium is a huge place comprising of 20 large water aquariums housing assorted variety of oceanic marine life inhabiting its water bodies. The aquarium features over 250 species of aquatic animals ranging from vibrant fishes and reef sharks to eels and seahorses. One can also experience the smaller marine life at the aquarium with coral reefs, mangroves, lagoons and pools.
Sharjah Aquarium and the adjacent Maritime Museum is a must place to visit for kids and families. There are lots of varieties of fishes and crustaceans. An impressive path that leads you inside under water tunnel as well as top view of huge fish tank. With one ticket you can enjoy free entry to the Maritime Museum where the history has been well preserved and presented in an interesting manner.
A simple yet satisfying, and cheap aquarium. At the entrance you can take a photograph to the back of a green screen, which you can buy if you like it. Soon you'll be greeted by various fish species, fun facts, and a few history lessons. Escalator is available, and moving with a stroller is easy. Near the end, there is a coffee and gift shop, and a balcony––a truly beautiful display of water and land. Highly recommended. My only opinion is. AMAZING. WHY? Cheap. The restaurant around the corner however was pricey. Maybe way before or go just a little further after.
