Very informative. You don't believe that fish are swimming so close to you. Huge tanks isolated by just glass partition from viewers. Really amazing and unique experience.
They reflect the diverse marine creatures living in our marine environment. It’s a captivating world encompassing passionately more than (150) species, including the beautiful clownfish, delicate seahorses, moray eels, sea rays and reef sharks. Contemplate the splendor of marine creatures of all sizes in the rocky shores, coral reefs, lagoons and mangroves. Sharjah Aquarium is the first and largest government educational center in UAE. Covering an area of 6500 m², it consists of two floors equipped with 20 aquariums, filled with 1.8 million liters of water.
Great place for children to get acquainted to marine life... Varied collection of marine life including some of smallest creatures like sea horse, starfish, etc. One must also pay a visit to Sharjah Maritime museum when visiting Sharjah Aquarium. Great learning experience and ancient means showcased beautifully. A small play area for children also available in the vicinity...
Affordable entry rate.. Didn't have to spend much time but was worth it . Unique and everything kept well
Great aquarium with many fish. The place is centered around one big tank with sharks, turtles, just to name a few. The walking path takes one through the tank in a tunnel and then over the tank on a bridge. Thus one can see the fish from many angles. There is also a separate shark tank at the beginning. Overall the aquarium is very educational and great for kids and adults. At the end is a snack bar with a fantastic view of Sharjah. There is also a seafood restaurant somewhere in the building.
