  • Spa day experience was great. Beautiful hotel in great surroundings near the centre of Sheffield. Spa has a small pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room and 4 sunbeds and a couple of wicker tables with chairs. It was quiet when we went and there were only two of us so it was perfect but bigger groups would find it a little small. Afternoon tea was very nice. Hotel looked very nice too although we did not stay overnight.

  • Rooms were very nice and the location is fairly close to the centre of Sheffield. Lovely setting. Only disappointment was the size of the swimming pool which is too small to have any kind of 'exercise' swim, but the other spa facilities were very good

  • Service was excellent. Room was airy, if a bit wind-blown. Could have done without the landing light shining through the bottom of the door, but was ok. Really enjoyed breakfast. The staff are lovely.

  • We have stayed here about 6 times. Every time a different room, and always happy with our stay. Breakfasts are good, the grounds are nice, I have always been able to park in the car park, which is close to the reception area, so great for moving suitcases etc. Also a porters trolly which we used once as we had an excessive amount of equipment with us. All good.

  • Nice hotel overall, with good size rooms, although they could do with some updating. Bar was expensive. Overall, happy to stay again when price is right.
