Gould's Sugar House Reviews & Ratings

  • Great food and atmosphere. Family owned and operated so they care about their customers.

  • Excellent traditional New England food served with no fuss. Limited menu of breakfast and lunch items. My party of four had a fairly long wait but the food in such a beautiful location (both inside and out) with their own maple syrup is truly worth the wait.

  • Get there early or expect a wait. Menu is simple: pancakes, waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, and corn fritters, oh and of course syrup. Expect to pay a little more for the food, but they make it up with reasonable drinks. Make sure you speak with the matriarch as she is wonderful.

  • Best there is for pancakes and farm made maple syrup. WARNING! eating at this place will ruin it for all the others. It is that good! Maple syrup in jugs just as yummy, 25 cent ice cream cone! candy, apples and autumn decoration. Restaurant is just so warm and cozy I never want to leave. Been going there for 55+ years, I love it.

  • My niece suggested going to Gould's for breakfast and it was fantastic. I normally order the largest stack of pancakes I can get but seeing the size of these pancakes I only ordered two. I had the blueberry pancakes with sausage and they were fluffy and flavorful. While the restaurant was busy we didn't' have to wait for a table. Expect it is much busier in the spring. Fantastic food, people, and views at a very reasonable price. What more can you ask for?
