Gyumon, Shibuya Reviews

  • The place is not that difficult to find even using Google Maps. Just walk slowly at the end after crossing on the road before reaching destination. It should be to the right then quick left of an alley. The beef-stew beef melts im your mouth. They serve non-complicated simple food. Beef are on the menu. Not an extravagant place but a good place to eat.

  • This place offer halal meal. Overall for me the price compare to the portion they serve is not on par. I hope in the future they increase the portion

  • Good place, good staff, good food

  • Yes it's halal, but it's egregiously overpriced for a measly selection of 3 options for dinner. My family ate and immediately made plans to find more food elsewhere. We wanted to give business to our Muslim brothers and sisters, but I felt like my muslim identity was taken advantage of by someone who I don't even think is Muslim! They didn't say Salam when we entered or left.

  • One of the only places that serve halal Japanese style BBQ, it's pretty good. You'll find lots of Muslims with families in the night. A bit detached from Shibuya station, so not easy to find I think. They started serving lunch recently, prices are good, 1000円 for gyudon, 2000円 for a smaller yakiniku set. They do have not-halal menu as well so just ask for halal menu.
