  • For $1 entry, it’s just about the best deal in Tokyo. Get a glimpse into how life before the stylish cafes and trendy Tokyo. You’ll be surprised how quiet and serene this place is even though it’s just off a main shopping strip.

  • Interesting to look around a pre-war traditional property and definitely worth the minimal entrance fee. We visited in the evening and the light on the garden was stunning. Pleasant shopping area between here and Ebisu.

  • It's a begin 20th century house style. It's very impressive to see how many rooms they had. It's à big house with one upstair. It gives for our western culture, How the houses could be at this period. We can understand why with the big earthquake so many house was burn and distroy. The garden are traditional too and very peaceful. Take a moment to go out from shibuya and go their. 100¥ fee

  • Beautiful place to visit. And for only 100 yen! Great opportunity for pictures and if you're like me and have always dreamed of seeing a house like this... it's worth it.

  • I found the garden more interesting than the building itself
