Sakura Hotel Hatagaya, Shibuya Reviews
the location of the hotel is pretty good, in the middle of the city, easy to access wherever you want to go and you have a metro really really close. the rooms look visually pleasing, our room was Japanese themed, we got a futon(Japanese bed) for each of us. the room has a microwave, boiler, a fridge. the toilet and the shower was good quality, you have access to aircondition. the main problem with our room was the smell. it smelled horrible, and we couldn't remove it. our room is non smoke, so it couldn't be that. the service was really good! the breakfast was a bit underwhelming. you get white bread and some jam in boxes, and that's pretty much it.
Very polite and helpful staff with a nice and affordable menu for a quick bit of breakfast. Definitely will stay here on my next visit.
One of the cleanest rooms i've ever been in! The front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I came to Tokyo to experience the city, not to see the inside of a room so I was only looking for a safe, clean place to stay and it more than served its purpose. The bathroom was spotless as well. Would definitely stay here again!
Traveller friendly, cheap hotel, in great location. Just a little out of Shibuya and Shinjuku, you get the feel of a small Japanese Tokyo neighbourhood, while still being conveniently near the train station, only a few stops from the bright lights. Hotel is efficient and clean, with a useful 24 hour cafe. Staff are friendly and good guides as to things to do - obviously keen travellers themselves.
Bad hotel. First of the rooms are too small and they limit people so my friends and family cant visit. The rooms are also very dirty and dusty and all of us fell sick because of an allergic reaction to the dust. The bathroom is also too small and dirty too. The breakfast is also really bad. Advertisements say a buffet breakfast but it is very missleading. The breakfast is only bread and jelly with a water coffee or tea. There is also the "soup of the day" which always tastes really bad. The biggest problem i face is the staff. The staff are mostly rude (with a few exceptions, some of them are nice). The biggest staff i have a problem is the boy with the shoulder length hair (i think his name is Kou) He isnt helpful and does not have respect for the customers. He doesent give helpful solutions and isnt very friendly. This hotel isnt even worth it's cheap price. (this hotel actually deserves a lower score than 1/5)
