Baba Bhalku Railway museum is a blend of oral stories and technology. This museum commemorates the man who was the reason behind the construction of the rail line in Shimla. There is an interesting story of Bhalku who was a labourer on the rail line and he was the person to guide the path when there seemed to be obstacles in getting the rail line constructed. H. S Harington appreciated the way he guided the path for the rail line through his mysterious faculties. Today, the museum hosts things such as umbrellas, caps and coats that were once left in the waiting rooms of the station. Then there are easy chairs, wall clocks, glassware that belongs to early 20th century. There are some photographs as well that capture the past.
