Himalayan Bird Park - Review
Sight the rarest of the avian species in the picturesque environs of Shimla at the Himalayan Bird Park. Located at a height of 2213 meters, the park includes some of the most exotic birds that you have ever seen.
It is an extremely popular tourist spot in Shimla that attracts bird watchers from far and wide, year in and year out. It is not just bird lovers, but anyone who visits this park will me enchanted by the beauty of these birds that can be rarely spotted anywhere else.
Some of the exotic birds that you can spot here including Pheasants, Peafowl, Himalayan Monal (which is also the Himalayan State bird) and many more. The park is located 4.5 km of the famous Scandal point of Shimla and is at an easy walking distance. The ideal time to visit the park is during the summers, as during winters the place is filled with snow and most of the migratory birds fly to the warmer places.

Himalayan Bird Park, Shimla Reviews
Quiet good to see only a few varieties of Birds but the park is not well maintained. It is maintained in a very small area in which neither birds nor visitors can satisfy them completely. Needs improvement & proper maintenance.
Not much watchable..... Costs around 15/- per person.... We can see peacocks, some birds, and realistic show pieces of animals like leopard, lion, tiger etc....
Very Nice Place, but too small.. Having limited Birds.. Its front on Advanced Studies Gate.
Reminds me of the poem 'What is this life if full of care...We have no time to stand and stare.' Do come here without having a hurry and spend some time in nature. Its very rejuvinating.
Nice place and cleanliness is good.. road to reach is poor
