This beautiful church is a wonderful blend of religion and history. Located in a churchyard of Salisbury, Maddington, St Mary’s church is said to be built in the 17th century. The main highlights of this church are its stone structure, beautiful tower, and long nave. The chancel of the church was rebuilt in 1853. If you look at the chancel and the nave of this church, you will find these a great work of sandstone. Go inside the tower arch and you will see a beautiful large plaster cartouche. So, if you are moving around in Maddington, a visit to this church is worthwhile.
