Dumaguete Airport, Sibulan Reviews

  • Very small but at least it's cold. They should do away with the blind people singing as entertainment. No one really enjoys listening to them. I'm Filipino but I'm not familiar with any of their songs. What more for foreigners. Their noise just adds to the chaos. They compete with the p.a. announcements. There's a readon why tvs and monitors in airports are on mute. What they're doing defeats the purpose.

  • Definitely not an impressive airport, and I agree with a previous reviewer regarding the amenities. Our flight to Manila last year was delayed (Cebu Pacific) for about two hours, which felt like five or six here. It's basically one big room where everyone sits on hard plastic chairs waiting for their flights. I love many, many things about Dumaguete, but this is not one of them :( That said, flying in was much better, as we simply went to baggage claim and then greeted by a few of my wife's family members. The final approach was interesting as we came in over the National Highway instead of from the ocean side of the runway. Seemed like we'd fly right into the people and pedi-cabs on the road! However, pilot was very skilled.

  • They have great services

  • Worst airport i ever tried. They close at night and open at 4am. Very inconvenient no coffee shops nearby. The security guards were unhelpful and rude

  • Parking area can no longer accommodate the volume of vehicles coming in. Pre-departure area is quite congested (chairs, vendors, massage and serenaders. Comfort room is really comforting. An expansion is really needed for a better service.
