To spend a great day out with your children, you can always count on going to the Shaw Centre for the Salish Sea. It is a non-profit aquarium that aims to make people aware of the Salish Sea and its ecosystem. The aquarium started its voyage in the year 2009 and then it used to be known as the Shaw Ocean Discovery Centre. Children feel amazed here as they get to learn a lot about sea and sea creatures in a practical way. The most significant exhibits of the aquarium are plankton, jelly fish, Sea nettles, Moon Jellys, algae and much more. You can also see Wolf Eel, marine plants, Giant Pacific Octopus, Painted greenling, King Crab, and Chinook salmon here.
