Phare- The Cambodian Circus - Review
This is the only circus in Cambodia that caters to international standards. It is not about certain tricks and activities. What it really is is a musical show with a story from end to end. The circus is nobly dedicated to the development of Cambodian youth. It tells a story of how their empowerment, also the proceeds of every show are donated to youth development foundations. You can expect complete family entertainment through this performance. It is funny, it is daring and it is extremely innovative. The children will be fascinated by the dynamic visuals, the story and well intentioned story will engage the adults.

Phare- The Cambodian Circus, Siem Reap Reviews
Don't get the food option on the package. Get only the circus option. The food was mediocre with prices double of a local restaurant. The show was actually very good. Well rehearsed and well choreographed. The original music was entertaining. The performers were confident and well trained. The show we saw was called Khmer Metal. It is set in a local bar with adult themes and storyline.
We got there 30 minutes before the show, but were seated behind the projector screen in the top row. This obscured our view, and all the translations were backwards and we couldn’t read them. The show was great, the performances were great, the staff was very hospitable. My feedback would be to develop the female performers talents to equal that of the men. Our show had two women in it, and they were talented, but their skills and training could be increased so that they are also juggling, doing flips in the air from the gravity board, jumping through fire, etc.
Really lovely show! This is a pretty intimate performance space, which is great! We opted for the highest tier seats, so were right in the front row, but even the cheapest ticket holders had decent seats. This circus goes towards an amazing cause, and the incredible performers made this very worthwhile on our trip. Would definitely recommend this to anyone in Siem Real!
Family best attraction. Last night we go there. Fantastic, my kids love the show so much. Not just a normal boring circus, it has great story line and arts of performance. Best ever.. we love it
What a great evening. We laughed a lot. They are a very talented bunch. You can see how hard they train. Everyone left with tummy muscles hurting after a lot of laughing. One of my favourite nights in Cambodia. Worth every penny.
