The Ta Prohm temple is one of the most important heritage sites in Cambodia. The temple is built in the Bayon style, minimalistic but intricate. Unlike other temples in Angkor, which have gone through some amount of recreation, this place has mostly been left as it was found. As opposed to many other khmer style temples, this one is flat in its design. Surrounding the temple is a jungle. This gives a very adventurous feel to all who visit this place. For those interested in History, this is an apt place to visit. For those seeking spirituality and calm, same!

An absolutely beautiful temple! One of my favorites on Siem Reap. Ta Prohm was very crowded, but worth it. Between the tree coverage and all the birds singing, the temple gives off a majestic vibe. The way the trees grow in the rocks is quite fascinating. It’s almost as if it’s one with the forest! The “Stegosaurus” carving was pretty cool if you can find it. The temple is a must if you’re in Siem Reap!!
This was my favorite temple that we saw! A beautiful combination of nature and ruins. Like the trees are bursting through the ruins. This was also the setting to a famous scene in the original Tomb Raider! There's also great photo ops here!
Many ancient trees. Worth a visit. Many stones already collapsed. But still you will experience something unique here.
This is possibly one of the most beautiful and amazing places I have ever been. How can you describe this breathtaking temple. Easy to say: it is impossible. You have to visit it. You have to feel the atmosphere there. Definitely a place you should not miss on your Cambodia journey!
So far this is my favorite place at Siem Reap. I love everything here, especially the trees, very impressed. But it seems like never to be empty of visitors. Had to wait for a while to take the photos as I wanted. Would be amazing if you sit down and take a break somewhere the, to enjoy the atmosphere.
