About Ta Prohm, Siem Reap
The Ta Prohm temple is one of the most important heritage sites in Cambodia. The temple is built in the Bayon style, minimalistic but intricate. Unlike other temples in Angkor, which have gone through some amount of recreation, this place has mostly been left as it was found. As opposed to many other khmer style temples, this one is flat in its design. Surrounding the temple is a jungle. This gives a very adventurous feel to all who visit this place. For those interested in History, this is an apt place to visit. For those seeking spirituality and calm, same!

Ta Prohm, Siem Reap Reviews
Only one suggestion: Come as early as possible and you won't be disappointed. The trees, the movie and the story. This is the temple for the mother and this is the last post about Angkor from my last visit. I came here in early 2016 and spent nearly two weeks in this great, unique and fantastic place. This is once in a lifetime experience. Hope everyone enjoys and have a good stay. All the best. cheers.
Beautiful and wild, felt like I could have been in a movie. Only complaint is that there are wooden platforms in front of a lot of the trees, ostensibly to give people a place to take pictures that doesn't include climbing on things, which kind of take away from the ambiance. Though a necessary evil, I think, based on the terribleness of people.
Ta Prohm is one of the main temples in Cambodia and it's considered as one of the most beautiful temple. Located in the jungle, about 12km from Siem Reap, Ta Prohm is a sample temple of how nature and temple have been struggling over 400years since the city was abandoned. Built in year 1186AD, Ta Prohm was dedicated to king's mother and also served as the Royal Buddhist monastery.
The famous Tom Raider temple! So far it has been my favourite temple, it was just a pity it was all incredibly full. There were very few moments that you could get a shot without having someone move into your shot. Overall, barring the quantity of people and lack of space, I would place this temple higher than Angkor Wat. Definitely worth a visit!
It is famously known as the Tomb Raider temple. Structures with overgrown huge trees make this temple unique and different. You will have to wait in queue to get a photo clicked with these trees. As it is one of famous temples, it is always crowded and it's better to visit as early as possible in morning to avoid all the crowd.
