  • Despite Changi Airport itself being amazing. Being a seasoned traveller, The Ambassador Lounge service and hardware is absolutely appalling. Some of the receptionists are inattentive and rude. The beds are hard as a rock, there are no slippers available, no fridges are in the room and the bathroom is at a different level then the room itself, all feature I have only seen in budget hotels. However, the hotel charges prices in excess of that of 5 star hotels. It is understandable why this is the case, given hotel is a monopoly in the airport.  However, the airport must do something to improve the service and hardware given the premium price, which I would be happy to pay if appropriate.

  • Conveniently located next to the Transit Lounge in Terminal 3. The room with the Queen bed was spacious enough for two adults. Comfortable bed. Clean toilet and bathroom with towels. Water bottles, Tea and instant coffee available in the room. Note: Bathrobes are not provided.

  • Rooms are spacious, clean and well maintained. Staff are helpful too. A good place to relax and nap between long transits. If you only want to freshen up, you have the option to just pay for a shower which is also convenient -and cheap

  • The rooms were clean and nice, but Changi Airport had set up a concert stage immediately out the front, and a very loud live band was playing Christmas carols so I hardly slept.

  • Located airside so there is no need to clear customs if on a transit. It is not cheap though, so if time permits, could get better value at a full service hotel land side. This is a interior room meaning there is no windows therefore no views whatsoever. Would be much nicer if there was a window. Overall, not bad, but unless absolutely necessary, I would prefer to stay at a proper hotel instead.
