Clarke Quay, Singapore Reviews

  • Heart of the Singapore. Extremely happening and lively place at night with live music. A hunting place for dance, music and beverages lovers. Quite peaceful in day though but it's clock starts in the evening. Flooded with open/closed pubs/bars/Discos. Best place to hang out to chill out after daily office chores. it's view is so mesmerizing in vicinity of starts. It's colors make you alive.

  • You have to bask in the area for many hours. There's pretty much something for everyone here. From clubs to riverside dining, the area is part of the Singapore river that gives the country its reputation of a vibrant nightlife. Bring guests, young or old and you will be able to find a spot that suits you. That's the amazing part about Clarke Quay. Further up the river you can discover Robertson Quay, which caters to yet another class of revellers.

  • At night this area really comes alive with people of all ages seeking activity and energy in the beautiful if sometimes too quiet city of Singapore. After a day of tranquil gardens and pleasant museums or coffee at a mall, it is fantastic to wander down here on a Thursday to Sunday and become part if the throng of souls meandering next to the river and beneath the skies as you decide where to take it all in. Stop for a beer, a fancy cocktail or a refreshing ginger beverage and do some people watching or listening to music. Parts of this area are thumping with noise and disco or hip hop tunes that beckon the young or young at heart. Other areas are more subdued and perfect for families with kids in strollers to be enjoying the lights and the fountain splashes. Many eateries of all cuisines vie for your appetite. It will be hard to choose just one, so consider a different course at several stops, from Mexican to English to Chinese and more. Great area to walk during daytime or evening, depending on what you seek. Have fun!

  • Nice place to spend by the evening of weekend or your holiday. There are many places to hang out, either restaurant, cafe, or just a place to drink. I was unfortunate not able to see Clarke Quay in the evening. So I only got the chance to see it in the afternoon, when the sun is still shining brightly and no street lamps light on. But surprisingly, live music never ceases during the afternoon, and all shops are attractively taking customers to buy something on their own shops. If you want to enjoy the atmosphere of being there, especially with your romantic partner; this is a great place, and worth your visit for about half a day. You can enjoy a lot: Central Clarke Quay (the small mall nearby) and its attraction, or the places by riverside (Riverside Point), or by the bridge, or doing a river cruise ($25/adult or $15/children 3-12 years old). Beware when taking pictures nearby the edge of quay, because there are no real fences to guard your safety.

  • This is one of the party districts of Singapore. Lot of bars lined up with live performances and happy hour deals. The landscape of this place keeps on changing!! Usually become sharpening after 7pm. During day it is quite peaceful and mostly eating places are open!! Most of the crowd is young people!! Quite a good place to go and party in Singapore
