  • Not a great experience both with a regular hop on hop off buses/lines, nor with a "special event" organised by Duck & Hippo in the evening. Person who sold us tickets for the "special event" absolutely misled us by saying to us that dinner was included with the ticket. When we started that "special event" guide told us that "dinner" was actually "food sampling" and we got vouchers worth 5 Singapore dollars that could be spent in a 30 minutes time frame only in the Chinatown. What a joke and absolute waste of our money. What was provided during that evening, we could organise by ourselves for less money.

  • This is a good option to see Singapore, but don't take the Blue Line. We waited ages for the next hippo to come along at two different stops. And while the stats and economic info is great, why is it all given in US dollars? Stick to Singapore dollars so non Americans can convert to their own currency.

  • We only used the hop-on and hop-off buses. They go to all the most important places. Unfortunately, there can be long waits between buses. The drivers are most unfriendly and un helpful. If you are not waiting at the exact location they decide to stop which is not always at the bus stop due to traffic, they will not wait for you to get to them. Not much fun if you then have to wait another 30 or 40 minutes in the Singapore heat.

  • Didn't try the Duck, bought a two day pass for the hop on hop off open top bus and it was well worth it. Interesting commentary, and a great way to see the places we wanted to.

  • I got seriously injured during the duck tour and management have ignored all my requests for assistance - I would NEVER use this company again. I advise you to be very cautious of any tours they run.
