MacRitchie Reservoir, Singapore Reviews
When i tell people i live in Singapore the asked me about "Sentosa", "Marina Bay". Also they say everything is so expensive and there's nothing but tall buildings and nothing to do. But i tell them you are not see how i see Singapore. Best way to enjoy Singapore by walking. And one of the best place is this.
Downside - hard to get to on public transport so cabbing/ driving there is prob your best bet. Brightside, spend a day in nature on a nice hike and spot the wildlife. We spent about 3 Hours walking about and saw monkeys, monitor lizards and more.
Might get a bit difficult to reach using public transport depending on where you live. But, please put in the effort or take a cab to get here. I promise you won’t be disappointed. This place grows on you. You can spend half a day or a bit more walking around and enjoying moments that would transport you into a rain forest kind of an environment - all of this in the middle of the city. There are some water activities like kayaking that you can do. You can check out a new route for trekking each time you visit. You must try the treetop walk as well as it’s gorgeous. Overall, wish there were some food stalls here and there to find relief but absolutely love this place even without them.
I loved the nature and the real setup there along the water reservoir , if u want to go for a run best & interesting place. Evening at 4 there is the kayaking classes for children beautiful to watch
We only got to traverse a small part of the trail, but the part we saw was awesome! Great place without the busy city. There are monkeys here too.
