This is considered to be among the 3 major wildlife reserves in Singapore. This place is very unique because, there the main focus is preserving nocturnal animals and moreover letting them be in their natural setting. Tourists can definitely enjoy this place as it houses over 1000 animals belonging to around 120 different species. Visitors are taken through 8 geographical zones that are spread over 100 acres near the Singapore zoo. This is a night time park and tourists would get a chance of seeing the most mysterious and elusive creatures. It isn’t that you cannot visit the place during the day, but as the name suggests, in order to experience all that they have to offer at the Night Safari, it should be visited after dark.

Its a must visited place in Singapore. 35 hector rain forest! They include the endangered Asian Elephants, Malayan Tapirs, and Malayan Tigers. I think the show starts at 7.15 pm. They have 3 shows every one hr. I would suggest you to prefer 7.15 pm and never 9.15 pm show. I have been there twice, and the last time with my family I chose 9.15 pm. As its closing time, everybody including staff, shop keepers all in a hurry to wind up. And you may miss to watch some animals and special tribal programs. Unlike traditional nocturnal houses, which reverse the day-night cycle of animals so they will be active by day, the Night Safari is an entire open-air zoo set in a humid tropical forest that is only open at night. It is divided into seven geographical zones, which can be explored either on foot via four walking trails, or by tram. I personally prefer trip on foot.
Nothing like this in the world. You can see normally asleep animals come alive in the dark. A lot of tourists especially on weekends. Preferably come on weekdays. There is currently a festive market beside night safari but easily missed if you enter by the main gate. Try the trails in addition to the tram and show.
It was a cool experience exploring The forest in The dark and watching different types of species from all around them world. And their message to us about how and why we should help the endangered species and protect them instead of killing them. It is one in the world It was such a good experience Thank you to The authorities for protecting these animals
Never before experience. You get to see the nocturnal animals in their natural habitat in the comfort of a tram with guided voice tour. Or you can opt for going on various trails on foot n watch the animals in moon light like artificial lighting up n close. Creatures of the night show is a highlight.
I think this becomes a to do if you visit Singapore anytime. While the Safari and the nocturnal animals are good to watch . I really loved the show that happens in the end. The anchor was great who kept the crowd alive and interested. Could be chances that some animals go hiding during the Safari . But the ecosystem looks real and right for the animals well maintained
