Night Safari - Review
This is considered to be among the 3 major wildlife reserves in Singapore. This place is very unique because, there the main focus is preserving nocturnal animals and moreover letting them be in their natural setting. Tourists can definitely enjoy this place as it houses over 1000 animals belonging to around 120 different species. Visitors are taken through 8 geographical zones that are spread over 100 acres near the Singapore zoo. This is a night time park and tourists would get a chance of seeing the most mysterious and elusive creatures. It isn’t that you cannot visit the place during the day, but as the name suggests, in order to experience all that they have to offer at the Night Safari, it should be visited after dark.

Night Safari, Singapore Reviews
Don't miss the fire dancers before going inside the safari. Check the schedule for the show. Definitely make time for the Creatures of the Night. It's a live show featuring some of the animals in the park. I enjoyed it and although it lasted for 30 minutes, I felt like I could have watched some more! Take the tram around the safari. It's a nice experience going around the park with a guide, plus it takes you places to see more animals where the walking trails do not. After you alight from the tram, do the walking trail. It's not as big as it looks on the map and you can definitely walk all the different trails. Be sure to check out the fruit bats and the flying squirrel. Both are enclosed in a sort of tent and you can walk inside. Both are also along the Leopard Trail. The whole thing can be done in about 2 to 2.5 hours, not including the time spent waiting for your schedule to go inside the park.
Interesting place to visit in Singapore , reach the place on time n enjoy dinner/ snacks at outside area with jungle fire dance . Dancers are experienced n performing with fire well , it really thrilled me . Expect a huge crowd at the place as it is the world's first night Safari well maintained. Ques are too long so we need to wait long for our term to board in to tram . So it is highly recommended that you must accompany your friends n family so that waiting time will pass easily . Once u started Ur journey in jungle we felt really excited. bring your earphone if u wants to enjoy multilingual uninterrupted commentary . As u proceed further get encounter with wild life animals in night time . Different experience u cant imagine without going there . 45 minutes tour excellent for everything . Thereafter we go to night show . It's not much exciting but yes commenter is great so worth watching without paying anything extra . Now time to leave with lifetime memories
One of my favourite place of visit. I just love going to Night Safari with my family and friends. 45 minutes ride in a tram and u get to see lot of Asian and African animals with very informative commentary in Different languages other than English. The park is well maintained. For Indian food lover u have option to eat Indian food just after the exit. Must visit place in Lion city of Singapore.
This place was very busy (even on a Thursday night) but very awesome! It's like a zoo built for the night. Nearly every animal was out and about (except the wolves, sadly). There's three main parts to experience: the animal show, the tram ride, the walking path. The tram and walking path do overlap a bit for what you can see, but both also see parts of the park that are not visible from the other. I think the animal show was worth it too (remember, turn off your phone flash so the presenter doesn't have to say it every 30 seconds!). The queue for the tram was very long (30 minutes?). If you time it right, you can do the walking path and then the tram later after the queue gets smaller. You can buy tickets online and just present the e-ticket to get in. Overall, this place was great!
I recommend starting your journey on the tram, which offers an easy, close-up review of the parks most prominent citizens. Some expert narration is included, providing unique insights and details for each animal. If you’ve ever seen Jurassic Park, the tram evokes some serious nostalgia for those Jeep-borne tour scenes. If you’ve timed it correctly, hop off the tram and enjoy the “Creatures of the Night” performance (last show @21:30), featuring some close-ups of owls, foxes, etc. This is a good one for the kids. With the above complete, all that remains is to strike off into the dark jungle on foot. Several interlocking trails offer amazing views of animals from the Sub-Saharan plains of Africa to the jungles and forests of Southeast Asia. The nocturnal environment offers a truly unique experience and, while some may consider skipping the traditional daytime zoo visit (“I’ve seen it all before.”), the Night Safari is a one-of-a-kind experience that shouldn’t be missed!
