Rise, Singapore Reviews

  • Located in one of the best hotel in Singapore. Rise is a flagship restaurant by the sands offering daily buffets. There is a specific theme each day both lunch and dinner, from seafood feast to meat lovers. There will be one that fit your preference for sure. Been here a few times and the place never failed to impress. Good quality food, polite and friendly staffs ensure a better experience when you dine. The price is not cheap for many, but it is not unaffordably expensive either, especially if you enroll into their free royalty program, currently entitle for 30% discount for some of the buffet sessions. Overall, a great place to celebrate an occasion with a group, or with family. It may not be the best romantic option for couple, compared to candle night dinner though.

  • Had new year’s lunch buffet which cost S$88/pax which was pricier than usual. Food selection was rather extensive and atmosphere/ambience was nice. There’s a herb garden at the back of the restaurant which is rather pleasant. Service was satisfactory. However, food quality was lower than expected. Seafood section was quite disappointing. Snow crab was rather blend and tasteless. So was the sirloin. Beef redang was tasty. Wide selection at dessert section with good cakes and ice cream. Overall, seafood could’ve been fresher, and maybe better to visit during non-festive season to avoid the price hike.

  • Overall, a good experience. The place is nice and clean, the staff is friendly (albeit not prompt), a large selection of food, and the open venue made it stand out. I particularly enjoy the “make it yourself” soda fountain. And tried the rose apple for the first time in my life. If you’re looking for a buffet that provides hotel quality service, variety, and ambiance, this place is for you. But like all hotel buffets, don’t expect the best experience on any particular dish. Expect the usual tradeoff between best tasting vs. variety.

  • This review is for the dinner buffet. They has nice ambience, spacious and good service but the food is average. Expecting more from the restaurant. The seafood is not that fresh, oyster is small and most of the meat is hard to chew. The dessert section is not bad but most of it is cake. Hope they can make some improvement.

  • Prefer Cosy relax cafe then pricey buffet side
