Ronin, Singapore Reviews

  • Not fancy here, just damn good coffee, best so far in Sing. Food is good too. This is proper coffee, don’t come here if you want it burning hot. Service is outstanding. One person brought a dog and tied it up out front. In a flash a staff person was out there with a bowl of water. That’s service.

  • Quite the hidden gem. If I lived in Singapore, I'd visit frequently. The espresso beverages are expertly crafted and delicious. As for the food, they have some very unique breakfast and brunch menu items. The savory French toast is unlike anything I've ever tried before. It has hints of the sweetness you'd expect from French toast but it's hearty thanks to the bacon and the braised apple.

  • Visited Ronin for brunch on a Sunday when it was pouring outside. The place was busy but we managed to get a table. Inside the cafe, lighting is dim which gives a darkish feel to this place. Tables were fairly well spaced out. Food was pretty good; had the granola and fungi sandwich. While I felt that the coffee was nice, it definitely wasn’t strong enough to qualify as one of my favourite coffee places. I was rather surprised with how weak the coffee was because I asked if there were two shots in the flat white and the answer was yes. Anyway, still a nice place to visit for a cuppa and Sunday brunch.

  • Service is good. Coffee is good. Prices are reasonable for city area (slightly exp). But it gets quite noisy when packed, cant really hear what your friends are saying. Will be great if credit cards are accepted.

  • Everything just tick for this cafe. Unpretentious from food (lovely scrambled egg and toast) and coffee to services and vibe/atmosphere. Truely a hidden gem!
