Science Center, Singapore Reviews
Great place for kids and adults alike to learn more about the wonders of science. It's amazing that even though the place is so old (I've been here since I was a kid), there's still constant updates and interesting new events here. It's a great place to bring your kids in the weekends and they even have a wide range of interesting workshops/activities. I'd definitely pop by every once in awhile to check if there's any new events, exhibitions.
About Kids Stop: Great place for kids under 7. I guess for kids age 7 and above will find this place quite boring. They can explore many field of works there. This place usually full during holiday sesson. Best time to come is on weekdays, so they can enjoy all of the facilities.
My six year old son, father and I got an annual pass and it was so worth it. The water park is great and the center is huge. Everytime we go, we find something new and fun to see and do and it has been at least six times! KidsStop is right next door via a connector tunnel but with a separate entry fee. With membership, there is a 10% discount. There is an exhibit where you need closed toe shoes to ride a bicycle with square wheels.
The must visit spot for anyone, one can easily spend an entire and not get bored. You do not need to be science enthusiastic to visit the place. The only downside of it is that it's not in the happening spot of the Singapore but slightly far from it but definitely it's worth it. All I regret is I couldn't spend much time here. The butterfly up close is so much worth to find one of a kind butterflies but they were very less when I visited but it's great. The Omni theatre is amazing and the experience was breathtaking. Sadly, you can pick only one show out of the three available options. The seats are amazing and comfortable and best ones are at the top. The park is not advertised much there are so much options available that you can spend an entire day and not regret a minute of it. Especially for the kids, best place to hangout and study with fun spot. Even for kids of age 1-4 or more than that have a lot of fun options which makes it one of kind. There are plenty of drinking water fountain available and clean washroom too.
Surprisingly underrated compared to the other big-name tourist attractions in Singapore. The exterior looks like a trip back in time but inside the exhibits were surprisingly well presented. We had a blast at their mirror maze and kept going back for more!
