About Inceburun Lighthouse, Sinop
Settled at the tip of northernmost point of Anatolia, this active masonry lighthouse still manages to attract visitors coming to Sinop. And the primary reason of it is its construction. Though it was built in 1863. But you can still see the cracked basalts that was used to construct this lighthouse which amazes the visitors. The surrounding area near the lighthouse has also become quite popular for camping. Inside the lighthouse, the tower has a gallery around an octagonal shaped lantern room. Unfortunately, the tower is not accessible for public visit anymore. Still you can see the lighthouse which is around 12 meter high.
