Established in 1887, the prison was built to imprison the most famous criminals of those days. The most unique fact of the prison castle is its structure. It is surrounded by sea on three sides. It also had a juvenile prison. History says that the prison used to be guarded by 300 guards, giant gorillas and sometimes dragons as well. True or not, but the structure that has remained till today do deserve a visit. Later on, in 1997 the prison was closed down and it is now used as a museum.
