Clean spacious room, plenty of luggage carts, and helpful staff. Particularly enjoyed breakfast. We are loyal Marriott guests so we often have their breakfasts. The offerings are usually similar, but this buffet seemed fresher, more abundant and better organized. Tony was the attendant and he seemed to take extra care in making sure the food and the dining areas were fresh and clean
We enjoyed the stay. The style of the hotel was very nice. The room was extremely comfortable, the only thing stopping us giving a 5 star rating was our room smelled a little musty almost like mold. The hotel was full we were informed upon arrival so didn't bother asking for a different room. Will try again and hope for a non-smelly room.
To begin we have stayed at this Marriott for the past 4 years, we have had great service until this past weekend. First when we got there we got our keys went up to our room and they didn't work so we had to go back down and get them fixed. The. The next day we came back and our key to the room didn't work again. So I went down to the front desk and no one was there so I waited for about 7 minuites till a lady came saying "sorry I was in the back office". Then that night I came back to the hotel and saw no one was at the front desk again. I wanted to go check out the patio and saw two of the front desk workers smoking away. On Sunday I realized I must have left a pair of shorts so I called waited on the line for 10 minutes no one picked up so I called back again no one picked up for another 5 min. So I gave up and went here and wrote this review.
Springfield is by far the best Hotel I've ever had the pleasure of staying in (besides one of those really nice seaside ones, but do those count?) It's incredibly clean, well equipped, and has a great breakfast. Their Tvs are set up to allow for access to your main streaming services (Pandora, Netflix, etc. (so long as you have your own account)), and the Internet is definitely up to it. The breakfast has waffles, biscuits and gravy, eggs, everything you'd expect from such a hotel, and the seating is usually more than enough during the hectic mornings. The rooms themselves vary a bit, however. I have stayed there on several different occasions, and in most of the 2 Queen-sized bed rooms you also get 2 different flat-screens. The couch each room comes with is also a pull out bed, but is actually roomy enough that I (6'1") can sleep very comfortably through the night without pulling anything out. It might be a little confusing to get into the parking lot the first time around, however. Otherwise, a terrific choice of a hotel, with a great location right next to the mall.
No tub in our room.....bsthroom light very dim....our room was facing a busy highway so very noisy to sleep....but breakfast was delicious and bed comfy and room very clean
