Sirmione is a commune in the country of Italy. It is famous for being a resort town, located very close to the Lake Garda. It is a great vacation spot to relive all your stresses or even for a honeymoon. This town has a great deal to offer to its visitors. From thermal baths to medieval castles, being in the midst of all this, you are transported all the way back to medieval times. There are multiples ruins for you to explore and multiple churches to pray in. It would be a great place for your honeymoon as it is extremely romantic and allows you to relax but also has a sense mystery to it, if you decide to get out of bed and explore the town.

1. A Trip to Castle Scaligero

If you choose to do only one thing other than relaxing then this is the castle you ought to visit. This is a unique 13th century castle. It is surrounded by water and is a unique port fortification. 2. Grotte di Catullo for a little history time travel

These Roman Ruins run along the peninsular region of the city of Sirmione. You can see all parts of the Lake Garda from up here. The ruins are of a villa that is said to have been built in the 1st century. It is the largest Roman villa in Northern Italy. A walk through these ruins is sure to take you back in time. 3. The Church of San Pietro

5. Visit Ca Dei Frati Vineyard and enjoy the process of Winemaking

A lover of wine? This is the place to be. The vineyard not only produces delicious wine but also allows you to learn all about the wine production process in their winery. 6. Gardaland Theme Park for the kid in you and your kids

13. Monumental Complaex of San Martino della Battaglia

This museum is an important part of the town of Sirmione. It is surrounded by lush green, landscaped shrubbery on both sides. The pathway leading up to it seems like something out of the movies. The white building stands tall among all the greenery and can be spotted from a mile away.

14. Visit Parco la Quiete for a posh picnic with family and friends

This Park features three pools, green rolling lawns, a mini golf area, a café and a pond for fishing. It is a great place to visit on your day off and spend some quality time with your friends and family.

15. Padenghe Castle

Another castle to finish off the list. This castle is surrounded by a lake which makes it look absolutely picturesque. The view is stunning and again makes for an amazing backdrop for pictures.
