Brama Mlynska is an ancient gate erected in Slupsk, Poland. Roughly translated as ‘The Mill Gate’, it was erected as a part of fortification of the city. Built in the Gothic style of architecture, the gate was constructed in two parts. The lower storey was erected between 1325-1329 with the upper storeys being added between 1365-1370. The gate was destructed during the war in 1945 but was renovated in 1980. The tall red brick gate makes for a spectacular sight to behold and leaves you awestruck. Standing tall since years, this gate has come to be known as a landmark of the city. Make a quick stop to observe this historic monument when you are in the city.
