Twin Falls Recreation Site Reviews & Ratings

  • A short drive off of the highway or from Smithers, and it is WELL worth the effort. The main trail is maintained and wheelchair accessible. If you plan to go on the more adventurous trail, which takes you to the top of the waterfall (which is not wheelchair accessible or maintained), be prepared to trek different terrains, such a rocky areas, heavily rooted spots, as well as navigating through fallen trees and small mud slides.

  • The falls are just a short hike to the viewing platform and are a must see if you are near Smithers! If you are feeling more adventurous, the glacier gulch trail might just be for you. Be mindful though, after a few miles it emerges from the forest towards the glacier and is a very difficult climb.

  • Beautiful site, just 4 camping sites. Bit of a grueling hike, but worth it for the views!

  • Took our toddlers up the trail with no issues!

  • It is so beautiful

  • It's more of a suggestion. Put a Twin Falls picture on the Twin Falls article i.s.o. high rises which are not in Smithers. Also it would be helpful to list the distance so I can decide whether I want to cycle there.
