The western part of Sodus Bay is located in the Town of Sodus, while its remaining part is in the Town of Huron. It is on the south shore of Lake Ontario. Considered to be one of the major embayments of the Lake Ontario, it is separated from the lake by a 7,500-foot long barrier beach. You may spend some leisurely time by the Sodus Bay when in Sodus Point.
