Shtastliveca, Sofia Reviews
A unique set of foodie experiences! A wide selection of plates to choose, it makes it hard to pick up what you like most. The ingredients are fresh and spicy 🌶 and full of flavors. I highly recommend it when in Sofia. It’s a massive restaurant and space that looks like a house! You will feel cozy and full!
Teodora was an incredibly sweet hostess, and her fish filleting skills are top notch. The decor is very pretty and floral, and there is something new to look at in every direction. If there are tables available outside, I recommend eating on the patio upstairs- the plush chairs are very comfortable! For brunch, we ordered the pink tomatoes with buffalo mozzarella, the vegan balls (beet and bulgar patties) with creamy mousse, and the sea bass. Every single course was delightful and seasoned to perfection. The pesto wasn’t too garlicky, and the fish was perfectly flaky. There are so many delicious-sounding menu items, I can’t wait to come back and try more!
The staff is horrible. Zero customer service orientation. Being recommended by a friend, I had high expectations for this place in the center of Sofia. Unfortunately, we were poorly welcomed by the hostess, who explained to us that all the tables were booked. This sounded ridiculously untrue, noticing that only one table was occupied on both floors. I have never been treated so rudely and even felt humiliated at a point. I would never go there again and I highly recommend you to choose a better place.
It was one of our best experiences in Sofia. They have a really large menu en the prices are great as well. We've had an appetizer + main course + dessert and both one drink. Total order around €30,00. The service was fast and good, staff was nice. It started raining and they immediately helped us so we didn't get wet. We're happy we tried this restaurant.
I was super excited - looked beautiful walking in. I got the honey & local cheese starter which was really tasty - and that's it for the highlights. My friend ordered the salad, asked and confirmed twice that it didn't contain meat - it came with smoked sausage laid over it. He explained to the waiter he can't eat this - who awkwardly repeatedly asked what he was supposed to do with it, and tried to guilt us by saying he'd be made to pay for it when we tried to send it back. Eventually it was taken away but still added to our bill! I ordered a rare steak, I got a medium sliced filet of beef - full of fat and not particularly tasty. I wouldn't bother wasting the trip. He awkwardly stood over my friend ensuring he got a tip when the card machine gave the option.
