  • This is one of my favorite wineries in this area. It is off the beaten path, but SO worth the visit. The staff are always very friendly and knowledgeable, AND they have a 'shop' dog which I LOVE. My favorites here, hands down, are - Fiesta (the red sangria wine) and the Rendezvous (red bold blend). I also love their tasting glasses, they are big... more wine to fill them with. We came here a few years back on a Groupon, and have visited several times since to stock up on our two favorites, and try anything new. A must visit.

  • We stopped at three wineries this trip. The atmosphere was welcoming and very friendly. Every tasting was delicious and balanced. There were 7 in our party and everyone of us enjoyed each tasting at this winery. The only vineyard anyone in our party purchased from. We all left with several bottles to enjoy at home. We will definitely revisit The Wilhelm winery.

  • Pretty good for the first woman certified and considering Im the first man in Az that was certified as a wine maker I m impressed

  • Never a disappointment when I walk out of the doors at Wilhelm... my favorite stop on the Elgin/Sonoita Vino trail... Karyl makes the most delicious ports as well as all her wines. The tasting room is small and intimate but the porch is a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the scenery and surrounding quietness... Love love this place!

  • Wilhelm Family Vineyards is one of the best in the Sonoita area if not the state. The staff are very friendly and work hard to answer your questions or find the answer. Setting is great with good vistas of the surrounding area. The wines are outstanding. I love the Viva - a white peach sangria. It is very refreshing especially on those hot Arizona afternoons. The Zinfandel is my other favorite and probably my standard go to while enjoying the Wilhelm's Vineyards patio area. There are a lot of tasting areas in the Sonoita area and Wilhelm's should be a definite stop.
