The Mission San Francisco Solano State Historical Park is the northernmost mission of California’s 21 missions. It is a great place to know about Spanish- Mexican history. The Mission is designated as a California Historic Landmark. It is also the only mission building built in California after Mexico became independent from the rule of Spain. The building is beautifully restored and maintained.

  • This was very interesting.. learned history I wasn't aware of. Liked seeing the exposed mud wall. A pleasant walk to the other buildings in the area that were all apart of the same state park

  • Not a lot to see, but historically important as the last mission on the el camino real. Part of the town history too and a cute town.

  • It was remodeled in the 60s or 70s because apparently earlier decades used it as a convenience store, apartments, etc and dressed it with godawdul decor. Go figure America.
