Chef Michaels Flavour Shack Reviews & Ratings

  • This was so awesome to see. The woman inside was able to answer any questions we had about Chef Michael as well as the products that were for sale. It was a quaint little spot that reflects completely the personality you see on the television screen. It was food prepared right and people that were real. It was a wonderful treat..but when it comes to pei the people there are truly wonderful.

  • Great selection of preserves, cheese, chutneys and sodas from the island. Prices aren't low, but I'm a fan of locally sourced, curated shops. Great quick spot for those willing to pay a bit more for local quality and don't have time to drive to some of the other foodie stops.

  • Good little shop on the wharf. Bought a signed copy of his new book. This makes four for me and the only chef I follow because he cooks like I've eaten my whole life as a child with Nova Scotian parents. The woman operating the shop is very nice and the items she sells are all very useful.

  • If you are a fan of chef Michael Smith you can pick up some of his cook books or special cooking ingredients like black garlic. The building is a shack and so not very large. Also offers some autographed items for purchase

  • Staff was super friendly and a ton of interesting food items. Beach was nice to explore and seafood restaurant next door was great
