The Gondola At HeavenlyCurrently Open [Closes at 04:00 pm]
The gondola at heavenly is primarily a winter attraction, but even in the summer, the sweeping views of South Lake Tahoe that it offers on the way up is worth the Gondola ride. 2.5 miles long lake tahoe gondola ride takes you up to the Observation Deck, a platform 9123 feet high, from where you can take in panoramas of both California and Nevada. That’s only halfway up. If you go all the way, you reach the ski base and the Tamarak Lodge. Here, you can eat.
If you’re not into skiing, you can still tube down the hill at high speeds at Tubing Hill, which is five hundred feet long, with a 65 foot vertical drop. Keep your cameras handy and click away.
On the top of the Heavenly Mountain Gondola you have options to hike beginning at 9136 Feet or ride Tamarack Express Chairlift for 360 degree views of Lake Tahoe, Nevada's Carson Valley and Wilderness.

Great experience, very nice rental equipment & very helpful staff.
Got the demo skis but they were all chipped and banged up, bottoms needed waxing and edges weren't sharp. I complained and they let me go through the rack to find something better but they were all the same. I asked how they could call them demo skis and they said they were 2-3 years old. If I wanted newer models, I should go to their Pro Center store and pay $20/day more. Boots were good though. Also, they charge $7/night for valet but my son used Heavenly next door and they didn't charge for it.
Awesome food! Awesome service!
Workers one is mean there it sucks a drink cost 7 $ just for one drink and there was a girl who was so mean I just wanted to get out of there
If I could give less than 1 star I would. The people working there are extremely rude and acted like we were a burden. I’m sorry but that’s your job is to help your customers get equipped for skiing/snowboarding. I would definitely go somewhere else!!!!!
