The best thing people have to say about this beach is how family friendly it is. The next best thing is how non-touristy it is. Clean and small, and laid out along the shores of the beautiful Lake Tahoe, the place is like a unexpected gift. There are volleyball areas, and picnic areas. There are bathroom stalls, and beach rentals. There’s a snack store. There’s a beach of shallow water, and play ground for kids. There is a lot of parking space, and it’s free.

  • Been going here since I was a kid. No major beach proportion available but nice play area for the kids (be careful because right at waters edge. Only barrier is an open metal rail that goes directly to jagged rocks below). But does have a nice grassy area with a volleyball play area. Public restrooms avail. as well.

  • Fantastic views over Lake Tahoe. Easy reach to various diners and shops. Great photo stop

  • This park is small but a gem! We spent two days here and the views, quiet setting and grass were all amazing for us and our two dogs.

  • Peaceful, beautiful path to walk after dinner. "Beach" is a bit of a stretch if you are picturing sandy access to the lake.

  • This has always been my favorite beach in South Lake Tahoe. I love going there to hang out, take pictures of the sunset, or just to sit and think. It's a great beach
