Challenge your courage by taking this leap of faith by jumping off a plane at an altitude of 11,000 feet. Here is how it works:-

Once you have made your decision to go skydiving, you just need to make a call and make a reservation. At the centre, your harness is put on and a short briefing is given after which you are taken in an air conditioned van to Brownsville Airport. After some more safety checks you make your way to the airplane. Time to go! The airplane takes off and you are on your way up and out to the beach. Your fears grip loosens as you look out of the windows, getting your first look at how awesome this is going to be. As the flight gains height your instructor points out to the Coast and The Rio Grand. Just as you start to relax your instructor tells you its time to hook up. He makes all the necessary attachments and calls out his safety checks.

Ready! Set! GO!

You're Skydiving! The first thing you notice is how controlled the dive is. The wind is rushing by and your senses are overloaded as you fall through the sky at speeds over 120mph. Spinning through the air your instructor gives the sign, its time to pull! Wow!

Now you and your instructor settle in for an awesome 5-7 min canopy ride above South Padre Island. If you feel up to it your instructor gives you the student controls and lets you fly. You and your instructor make your last few turns and he lands you back where it all started, toes in the sand. Your friends are there to see your excitement. Congratulations! You are officially a skydiver.

Jumpers must be at least 18 years of age.

Jumpers must weigh less than 220lbs. Exceptions can be made on a case-by-case basis.

One also has the choice to have a video taken of the entire skydiving session where in a professional cameraman takes photos and videos at each stage starting from the tying of the harness to the end of the dive. The cameraman also jumps along with you to take a video of the entire dive.

• One can additionally pay $100 for a video(optional).
• One should make a reservation prior to going.
• Although the entire session lasts for 2 hours, one must be prepared to spend the entire day as there are various variables such as weather that can delay/ bring changes in the timings.
