  • There's what in the waters ? This place opened my eyes to the reality of what awaits you in these waters. The place is beautiful an clean, a great place for that moment of serenity an peace, escape by stopping by an spend at least 2 hours sitting an walking around, take some memorable photos.

  • My kids loved the bird scavenger hunt. The boardwalk is very nice and its great to see all the different birds. The facility is beautiful inside and air conditioned. Kids liked making crafts and going to the very top of the tower to see the whole island. There's ice cream inside to cool down if it's really hot outside. Admission is very inexpensive - less than $20 for a family of 4. Overall geat experience!

  • Spectacular place to see many species of animals in a beautiful, natural, and open environment. The long boardwalk and plentiful shaded viewing stations provided my small family of 4 over an hour of nature enjoyment. We were ecstatic to actually see an Alligator in the wild!! Definitely the highlight.

  • Beautiful facility and gift shop. Clean restrooms. Very educational video. Great place to watch birds and wildlife, nice place to get away for awhile from the busy beach area. Good for kids although there is an entrance fee. Boardwalk is fun but can get really hot in summer so bring a hat and some cold drinks. No pets allowed. Great place if you like taking pictures of birds and wildlife. has lots for a small area. Also fun is the watch tower. Definitely recommend it if you have kids and are ok to pay a small fee.

  • Not going to lie here, I had to wake two 12 year olds up and tell them we were going for a hike. There were groans. There was eye rolling. Until..we started walking. Instantly, they were looking for the alligator. Asking what birds we were seeing. Taking pictures. They were all smiles and super excited. We had a great time. We saw ducklings, alligators, turtles, fish, crabs and and at least 20-30 species of birds. A great place to take some amazing photographs and enjoy the morning. They also have some GREAT staged places in front of the building for photographs. Wear comfortable shoes. Bring water. Go slow and enjoy the animals....
