Came here before the Comedy Festival for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. Set menu was great value and we all enjoyed our meals, which were generous sizes. Lemon tart for dessert was delicious and staff were all friendly. Looking forward to visiting again!
Excellent venue for a celebration, meal or a cup of coffee. Food first class and the owner and staff very attentive and helpful. I highly recommend The Deck for any occasion! All the guests at my birthday party were extremely impressed!
Fantastic service and delicious food. Perfect relaxing lunch sitting in the outdoor area
A delightful surprise. We went to the deck this week to eat before a show. I hadn't been to Southgate for a few years and remembered it as a bit daggy. I was wrong The Deck is a small venue located at the upper level entrance to Southgate, just behind Hamer Hall. With 6 or so tables outside, you will want to try and book one of those. Modern food is the menu, with an easy wine list that's not to long. Three courses with a glass of wine was $40ish, and was delightful. Alternatively a full A La Carte is available. $400ish for 6 people to have a filling dinner with a couple of bottles of wine. Worthy of a visit next time you're down that way, especially for a show. They will cater to your event start time and time your service appropriately.
great venue, great night, loved it, legends, go roos
