Most part of the beach area is covered with rocks and loose stones which formed into a fantastic geology of cliffs. You can organize picnics in the separate picnic area. You can sit in the beach to enjoy the scenic view of sunset. You can visit the garden and the castle which are located close by the beach. It houses a rock pool which offers you to swim in the pool. Dunraven Bay Reviews & Ratings
A lovely spacious beach, which has a nice mixture of rock and sand. A nice place for surfing and body boarding. Plentiful parking spaces within a short walk above the beach. Be advised that on occasion a car parking charge applies. During one of our late evening visits we became aware of the public restrooms closing at six, even though the beach was still packed and weather was quite warm.
Nice bay with rocky landscape and hilly green surroundings. Certainly suggested for a trip when the weather is good. Plenty of parking space (costs £5). Shop for coffee, ice creams and more. Beautiful views.
Beautiful beach, totally hidden gem (for us anyway!). Lovely sand, paddling and rock pools. Good facilities and parking.
It's an amazing beach with tidal pools and rocky cliffs. The views are stunning and there's so much to explore. There's also an ice cream shop and toilets, and when the rising tide chases you up, you can walk up to the castle and explore the walled gardens. You will have to pay for parking, and check the tide timing so you can maximise your time on the beach because it comes up so fast. This is the perfect family day out!
