The Australia Fair Shopping Centre is situated near the renowned Surfer’s Paradise, in the centre of the Southport CBD hub. You can enjoy shopping in its fully air-conditioned precincts while you are making a visit to Surfer’s Paradise. Situated alongside the beautiful Broadwater, this centre houses more than 210 specialty stores and supermarkets. You can easily shop the latest trends and explore great dining across two food courts. Further, the centre accommodates the famous Birch Carroll and Coyle Cinema where you can easily book for a movie. Has all the shops you need and is conveniently located but also needs serious redevelopment. If you are looking for some good value clothing, groceries, miscellaneous items, cheap movie tickets or some fast food, this is the place to go. With much more modern and pleasant premises like Harbourtown and Pacific Fair just 20 minutes away, I can say that there is no reason to go here other than for the convenience and the low prices. Until the near-stagnant shopping centre updates are complete, this place will lack the atmosphere that the newer malls around the city have.
Good range of shops. Mall is a little dated, but they're slowly, slowly doing it up. New parts are fantastic. Free parking for the first 3 hours or 5 hours if you have a movie ticket stub. Food court has a good range and wide spread.
It's a dying mall, one of those photos is a place outside in China town which getting close to Christmas is a worry when you have one empty mall shop and one empty street shop just outside the mall area. The mall is clean, but there aren't many people, it's a little dull and gloomy and reminds me of malls from the 80s.you are much better off to spend 15 extra minutes and go to Pacific Fair mall down the road which is busy, happening and very modern, not to mention a great layout plus a really nice restaurant area and a number of up market outlets that Australia fail doesn't have. Australia fair has had its day, it gets two stars because it has most likely what you need day to day but so does the other mall. One other advantage of Pacific Fair is the Oasis mall is about 5 minutes walking distance from it.
Good selection of stores, and a great cinema. Plus there is undercover (free 3hr) parking. Could use a proper fruit and veggie store though.
A reasonable size shopping center... nice and decent. Great services
