The Southwell Minster is a place of worship that’s popular for its architecture. It’s basically a 1100s Romanesque space where regular services are conducted. The church was attached originally to the Archbishop of York's Palace that stood next door and has now been ruined. The Church’s nave is impressive with huge triforium arches, cylindrical columns as well as unaltered clerestory with several rows of windows. The Church has been well-maintained and if you would like to see the ancient architecture or offer services and seek the blessings of God, the Southwell Minster would be an ideal option.
