Jaksic gallery is a family run art gallery that houses the collections of the Jaksic family, from Donji Humac, a village located on the island of Brac. The owner of this gallery is Drazen, a stonemason who is assisted by his wife Ida Stipcic Jaksic, a fashion designer, their son Lovre, an academic sculptor and their daughter Dina who has a doctoral degree in arts. This family claims to have stonemasonry ancestry that goes back to 112 years. Today with the efforts of this generation, the ancient workshop has been converted into an art gallery that houses both workshops and studios. This gallery also displays beautiful silver jewelry created by Ida, sculptures using white Brac stone by Lovre and oil paintings by Dina. The lovers of art and stonemasonry will definitely love to visit this place.
